Satellite images are delivered by the american satellite Suomi NPP, and by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center that comes from the MODIS instrument onboard the AQUA and TERRA satelittes.
The archive also contains ASAR images that are radar images from ESA's former ENVISAT satellite.
